A FAMILY TRADITION
The family behind ‘Woodpecker’ grew up in the timber industry. Passionate about the personality, life and atmosphere that wood flooring brings to the home, they loved working with this natural material for more than two decades, from their very first small factory all the way up to the nine manufacturing facilities that they have around the globe today. The species, grades and finishes behind the beauty of wood flooring have become part of their everyday and they continue to enjoy working with these details in all of their flooring ventures. Their understanding and experience of timber shows in the stunning characteristics of every floorboard that they create.
Woodpecker care about the environment and do as much as they can to bring you wood floors that have been manufactured with this in mind. All of the wood has either Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) or Programme for the Endorsement of Forests (PEFC) certifications. These are two of the world’s most established and respected organisations for forest management, enforcing a similar set of values. Their goal is Woodpecker’s goal: to ensure that forests can meet the needs of the present generation without compromising those of the future. By making it their responsibility to source timber with care, they can be confident that they’re bringing you a beautiful and ethically sourced wood floor to enjoy in your home.
